You may have already received a recall notification from Honda, which could come in the form of an email, phone call, or notification in the mail. But the handy Honda Recall Lookup tool makes it easy to check if there is an active recall for your specific vehicle. We recommend bringing the vehicle in right away if there is one, as it could present a potential safety risk. In the very rare event that there is a wait on the necessary part, you will be eligible for either a loaner or a rental car until the repair has been performed, free of charge.

In order to check for recalls using the online tool, you will need your vehicle’s VIN. This can be found on your registration, insurance card, or the VIN plate on the top of your dashboard shown in this diagram:

How to Schedule a Honda Recall Service Appointment

Should you find that there is a recall on your Honda, we highly recommend scheduling a service appointment as soon as possible.
