What the Critics Say

The sedan is the most popular 2019 Civic body style, even if it’s easy to mistake as a hatchback at first. Its silhouette channels the Audi A7, the poster child for svelte styling. But where the Audi’s tail ends in a utilitarian hatchback, the Civic features a conventional trunk. This year’s styling updates swap chrome for glossy black accents up front for a cleaner look.” — The Car Connection
Honestly, Honda could have sent its engineers on a yearlong vacation to Tahiti rather than task them with updating the 2019 Civic. We’ve been giving this generation Civic top marks since its debut three years ago, and there’s nothing else out this year that’s going to steal the car’s title belt. But here we are anyway with an even better Civic.” — Edmunds

What’s New for 2019

A host of changes and revisions have been made to the 2019 Honda Civic Sedan. Every Civic Sedan now comes standard with Honda Sensing®. On the exterior, new enhancements include more subtle use of chrome accents on the front bumper, a restyled lower bumper, and blacked-out headlight treatment. Two new exterior color options which are now available are Platinum White Pearl and Molten Lava Pearl. An all-new Sport trim adds numerous value-added features, improved handling, and more aggressive styling.

Shifting focus to the interior, the available Display Audio system has been updated with a new interface along with a volume knob and physical buttons for important controls. Optional Bluetooth® integration has been improved to provide easier device pairing. A new center console cupholder can fit larger beverages. Updated dash trim and redesigned steering wheel controls round out the list of new features you’ll enjoy inside the 2019 Honda Civic Sedan.
